The Biodiversity Group is proud to provide fiscal sponsorship to a network of conservationists working across the globe, at a 5% affiliation fee, one of the lowest in the field. Most fiscal sponsors charge around double that. Keeping our fee low means more of every donation reaches the field, and it lets us share tools, expertise, and resources our partners could not otherwise afford on their own. A true win-win!
James Brown Wildlife Rescue Center Foundation is fiscally sponsored by The Biodiversity Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 20-3091062). Donations are made to The Biodiversity Group in support of James Brown Wildlife Rescue Center Foundation’s conservation programs and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Biodiversity Group retains discretion and control over all contributions.
The James Brown Wildlife Rescue Center Foundation (Fundación Centro de Rescate James Brown) rescues, treats and rehabilitates wild animals in Ecuador, then releases them into the forest around the center. Many arrive injured or taken for the illegal pet trade, among them ocelots, sloths, owls, eagles and turtles. Its team, led by Placido Salvador, follows animals after release and is building a neonatal intensive care unit for rescued young animals, a service the region does not yet have.
