The Biodiversity Group is proud to provide fiscal sponsorship to a network of conservationists working across the globe, at a published fee of 5% of the first $100,000 each year and 3% above that. Keeping our fee low means more of every donation reaches the field, and it lets us share tools, expertise, and resources our partners could not otherwise afford on their own. A true win-win!
Association Mitsinjo is fiscally sponsored by The Biodiversity Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 20-3091062). Donations are made to The Biodiversity Group in support of Association Mitsinjo’s conservation programs and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Biodiversity Group retains discretion and control over all contributions.
Association Mitsinjo is a community conservation group in Andasibe, in eastern Madagascar, founded by local residents in 1999. It manages a forest station beside Andasibe National Park and works on reforestation, environmental education, sustainable farming and amphibian conservation. Gifts through The Biodiversity Group support its amphibian monitoring: regular frog surveys in the Andasibe forests, and monitoring of the harlequin mantella (Mantella cowanii), a rare frog of Madagascar’s central highlands, carried out with a local community group.
