The Biodiversity Group is proud to provide fiscal sponsorship to a network of conservationists working across the globe, at a 5% affiliation fee, one of the lowest in the field. Most fiscal sponsors charge around double that. Keeping our fee low means more of every donation reaches the field, and it lets us share tools, expertise, and resources our partners could not otherwise afford on their own. A true win-win!
Project Triplefin is fiscally sponsored by The Biodiversity Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 20-3091062). Donations are made to The Biodiversity Group in support of Project Triplefin’s conservation programs and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Biodiversity Group retains discretion and control over all contributions.
Project Triplefin is Sailing for Science!
Project Triplefin supports research and citizen-science/art projects via the historic live-aboard sailing trimaran, Triplefin. After founding and leading The Biodiversity Group for almost two decades, Paul and Jo are now full-time sailors dedicating themselves and their sustainable trimaran to support conservation research projects in and around Mexico’s Sea of Cortez. Whether you’re a researcher in need of a vessel and our experienced support to collect your data, an artist with a simmering conservation project, a family or group wanting to get out on the sea to explore remote and wild locations while contributing to a citizen-science project, Triplefin is here to help you!
