Placido’s masculine strength and contagious energy are perfectly balanced by his gentleness, compassion, and patience. Placido manages the La Perla Reserve near the hustle and bustle of La Concordia, Ecuador. There he is constantly rescuing and rehabilitating local wildlife as well as taking groups of city kids on extreme nature outings where he gives them adventure as well as respect for all life. Placido and his two sons make full use of the donated cameras from TBG’s Cameras for Conservation program. And, in case you’re wondering, no, we don’t know how Placido keeps his pants so clean and white. So don’t ask.
